Privacy Policy
TaskLedger is an iPhone app for tracking tasks, time, costs, income, and recurring routines. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how that information is used.
1. Information handled by the app
TaskLedger may handle the following categories of information:
- Task names, notes, schedules, completion history, amounts, counters, and durations that you enter.
- Reminder preferences and local notification times that you configure.
- App usage analytics and crash diagnostics collected through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.
2. How your task data is stored
Your task content is stored locally on your device. When iCloud and CloudKit are available and enabled for your Apple account, that data may also sync across your Apple devices through Apple's services.
3. Analytics and diagnostics
TaskLedger uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand feature usage, identify reliability problems, and improve the app. These services may process technical and usage data such as app interactions, device information, and crash reports.
4. Notifications
Reminder notifications are optional. TaskLedger only schedules local reminders when you explicitly enable them for a task.
5. How information is used
Information handled by TaskLedger is used to:
- Provide task tracking, summaries, reminders, and synchronization features.
- Maintain app stability, diagnose issues, and improve functionality.
- Support release readiness and product decisions using aggregated usage information.
6. Sharing
TaskLedger does not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by Apple for iCloud/CloudKit synchronization and by Google Firebase services for analytics and crash reporting as part of operating the app.
7. Data retention
Your task data remains available on your device and any enabled Apple sync destinations until you delete it from the app, remove the app data from your device or Apple account, or disable related services.
8. Children's privacy
TaskLedger is not intentionally directed to children under 13, and the app is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The latest published version on this site will be the current version.
